We’re always interested to see people who have a passion for branding, design, typography and user experience.
We are on the hunt for new creative talent to add to our team. We're open to receiving the goods from folks who are recent grads through to seasoned professionals with 10+ years of experience.
If you think you have what it takes to add your professional capabilities to our team, please submit your cover letter, resume and link to your online portfolio or maximum 10MB PDF to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is not your off the shelf academic PR or communications role. As a small team, we multi-task. You will be asked to co-facilitate workshops and help develop subsequent brand and campaign strategies, yes, but concurrently you may be developing content and storyboards for a video, helping plan a social media campaign and even brainstorming high level creative concepts for clients.
As a communications professional, you know the power of design, and as a global citizen, you see immense potential for change in the world. Your friends call you a simplifier but you know that simple doesn’t mean easy - you just know what to focus on and why to focus on it. You are at ease with a small multidisciplinary team and a natural collaborator, yet take pride in being a leader. You’re curious and passionate about great storytelling and are constantly seeking inspiration for your work. You can help crystalize strategic direction to brand, storytelling and media, and put in motion the critical steps to produce them. You believe great design creates impact, both in its ability to deliver solutions and delight through unexpected details. You have a passion for social impact, and seek to build on your expertise to improve the lives of people. You’re a rare mix of creative and analytic thinking – your right brain and left brain get along well.

We accept interns for a minimum of four months duration, from a minimum two-year diploma program. Four to six-month terms are offered each year (typically January and June starts).
The successful applicant will be given similar opportunities and responsibilities as other designers in the studio. These include research, strategy and conceptual development, production, and supplier coordination. Some client contact may be assumed depending on the skills of the applicant. We pay our interns the minimum wage in British Columbia—plus birthday lunches and Friday beer.
